Eccleshall Festival Competitions

There are a number of competitions which form part of the 2010 Festival for everyone to have a go at.

The shops in the town will be competing for the best window display trophy awarded to the shop which has the best display based on the theme of 'Summer and Summer Holidays'. The shoppers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourites and decide the winners. Look out for the voting slips available from various outlets during the week.

There is the detective game, "What's not in my line" where shoppers need to spot the odd item on display in shop windows, a potato in the shoe shop, a newspaper in the butchers etc. There are small prizes for the best entries.

On Festival Street Market day everyone has the chance to dress up and compete for the best fancy dress prizes for all ages. The children and the adults and the stall holders who will all be in themed costumes
on the day.
